Assassin's Creed Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous changes reverberate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.
The adventure centers on "strange trials and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
